be the fibre @ MONTGOMERY INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
We are very proud to announce that we have partnered with "be the fibre" to promote sustainability at our school.
be the fibre is a non profit Belgian company which promotes sustainability and circular economy with the recycling of textiles. In association with We Make Hope (WMH), it also focuses on helping charities around the world. "Our journey is deeply intertwined with We Make Hope, the Flemish textile recycling organization. We Make Hope collects end- of-life textiles through containers in municipalities and indoor collection points found at retail chains like AS Adventure, JBC, Torfs, Bel&Bo, and concept stores such as Yuman Circular Village in Brussels [...]" |
Wearable items will be sold in second-hand shops, while unwearable ones will be recycled into various accessories. be the fibre's recycled products are available for purchase here. All proceeds go into funding global development initiatives such as the creation of a kindergarten and primary school in Rambia. We hope this initiative will inspire our students, as finding sustainable solutions is paramount while the world grapples with pressing environmental issues. |

At Montgomery International School, most of our students come from abroad, speak two or three languages and add much to the character of the school. We also attract Belgian families and long term expats who are looking for international openness and quality teaching and learning.
